ABOUT ME.

Jessica Katz is an experienced network weaver, educator, and community builder. She has a B.A. in Sociology from Michigan State University and an M.Ed in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago.  Jessica was the HR Training and Recruiting Manager at Moosejaw Mountaineering before making the move to engage and connect top talent and startups at re:purpose, a local startup. Currently, in addition to JKatz Consulting, Jessica is the local coordinator and consultant for Reboot, an organization, and network that affirms the value of Jewish traditions by creating programs and opportunities for people to make them their own.

Jessica has worked engaging young adults in various roles as a professional and lay leader within MSU Hillel and Birthright Israel, among others. Currently, Jessica is a board member with Kadima, The Well, and through the Jewish Federation of Metro Detroit, NextGen and the Jewish Education and Identity Committee.

An adventurer at heart, Jessica has climbed mountains (literally), backpacked Europe and continues to find opportunities to travel, sometimes in the form of yoga retreats. She loves the outdoors, travel, reading and has a moderately healthy obsession with ice cream and Sorels.
